Malaysia will play against Zimbabwe on Sunday (July 12, 8:45PM) and Tuesday (July 14, 5:30PM) at the KLFA Stadium in Cheras and Stadium Shah Alam.

Bad news for Malaysia squad after Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) called off the friendly match against Liberia this Sunday after Liberia unable to send down their first team to Kuala Lumpur. At the moment, FAM trying their luck on getting Zimbabwe to send down their first squad as a preparation for a friendly match against English Premier League champion, Manchester United. Lets pray it works. Its crucial to have a friendly match before meeting Manchester United in determining the best first eleven.
Malaysia coach, K. Rajagopal decided to stick with his Malaysia under 23 squad since they will feature in SEA Games this year. Only four senior players called to help Malaysia under 23 which are Indraputra Mahayuddin (Kelantan), Norhafiz Zamani Misbah (KL PLUS), V. Thirumurugam (Kedah) and the return of Selangor skipper to national squad Mohd Amri Yahyah.
I am a bit dissapointed to hear Kelantan skipper, Badri Radzi broke his leg in the match against Penang recently. I truly believe he have the quality to feature in Malaysia squad to run our engine room with Amri Yahyah. He also have the ability to execute free kick which i think is lacking from our national squad at the moment. I saw how K. Rajagopal try to use Aidil Zafuan for free kick set pieces, but i think he dont have the quality yet to score a goal from set piece situation.
With 28 players called for centralize training at Wisma FAM, i think K. Rajagopal will cut down at least 5 players for the friendly match against Manchester United. Here is our Malaysia squad trainee for the match against Manchester United and BolaToday personal first eleven.
